I sometimes find images online and edit them to sharpen my skills. It pushes me to think a little more about the final outcome. I wanted to add drama and contrast. Does it work?

Over the last year, I have been dealt a few things. None bigger than mom telling me she had cancer. To be honest it was hard to hear. I remember it like yesterday. My mom is one of the strongest and courageous people I know. She has been a wonderful example to follow. She is strong, powerful, humble, spiritual, fierce, selfless, fearless, caring, delightful, important, prominent, influential, high-powered, leading, ambitious, far-reaching, grandiose, generous, kind, kindly, compassionate, loving, most importantly she is my mom and she kicked cancers ass!
